Our prices are always expressed with a fixed amount per day and per traveler.

The minimum duration is 7 days per trip.

Can I take annual and automatically renewable Travel Insurance?

If you are a frequent traveler our AXA Platinium plan can meet your needs.

All your private and professional annual trips (max 120 days per trip) can be covered.

What is a Schengen Visa?

It is a visa obtained in one of the 26 member countries of the Schengen area.

This type of visa allows free movement in the country of issue and the other countries of the Schengen area during its validity.

What is the "Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009”?

It is the regulation which notably define the Travel Insurance requirements to obtain a Schengen visa.

Extract from “Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009”, which entered in force on April 5 of 2010: 

Article 15

“ Travel medical insurance
1. Applicants for a uniform visa for one or two entries shall prove that they are in possession of adequate and valid travel medical insurance to cover any expenses which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention and/or emergency hospital treatment or death, during their stay(s) on the territory of the Member States.

3. The insurance shall be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire period of the person’s intended stay or transit.

The minimum coverage shall be EUR 30,000

Verification of entry conditions and risk assessment

3. While checking whether the applicant fulfils the entry conditions, the consulate shall verify:

” Refusal of a visa

1. Without prejudice to Article 25(1), a visa shall be refused:

What is the Visa Schengen Travel Insurance Requirements?

Visa Applicant must provide travel insurance policy certificate, which shows:

  1. Name(s) of insured person(s)
  2. Insurance policy number
  3. Medical expenses for at least € 30,000
  4. Medical Repatriation
  5. Duration of cover for the entire travel period
  6. Insurance cover the entire Schengen territory
  7. Travelers in French overseas areas must be covered in these territories (this is therefore not a Schengen insurance and coverage must mention specifically worldwide or the country/area/island of destination).

What is the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS)?

“ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorization System. This is a new proposal for a border control system, made by the European Commission, which aims to strengthen the external borders of the European Union. 

At the moment there are 60 eligible countries that will be required to submit an online ETIAS application. Many of these countries’ citizens can currently travel to Europe without the need of a visa. The ETIAS for Europe is a system that will pre-screen travelers before they even board a plane. All information provided on the ETIAS application will be closely examined and checked against security databases.

By the end of 2022, all visitors that currently do not need a visa to enter Europe will be expected to apply for an ETIAS travel authorization.”

Which Countries will be subject to ETIAS research?
At the moment there are 60 eligible countries that will be required to submit an online ETIAS application. Many of these countries’ citizens can currently travel to Europe without the need of a visa. It is likely that ETIAS will be available to more countries in the future.

You will recieve your charge back money (on the same bank card as for payment) without fees within 3 to 15 days (depends of your bank).

Can I renounce my Insurance Contract?

You can have a right of renunciation within 14 days of signing your contract or of notification of a visa refusal by the Consular Authorities.

All the provisions relating to the right of renunciation are present in the Terms and Conditions of your contract.

What is a pre-existing illness?

A pre-existing illness is a health problem that already existed or for which treatment was administered before your insurance contract.
In all cases this is never cover by your travel insurance.

What is and do you have a waiting period in your Travel Insurance?

Waiting Period definition: No claim can be paid for any Illness or Injury that may arise in this period. 

Allianz Travel: No waiting period

AXA Assistance: No waiting period

Europ Assistance: Yes 7 days of waiting period

What do I risk in case of intentional or unintentional misrepresentation?

Any non-disclosure or misrepresentation concerning the elements of risk known to the Policyholder exposes her/him to the penalties provided by the French Insurance Code, namely: reduction of indemnities or nullity of the Subscription to the Policy (Articles L. 113-8 and L.113-9 of the French Insurance Code).

Any non-disclosure or misrepresentation concerning the elements of the claim known to the Policyholder, exposes her/him, in case of bad faith, to the following sanction: nullity of the Subscription to the Policy, with paid premiums then remaining the property of the insurer.
